I have been in practice since 2003.  I work with clients in a variety of areas.  I focus on depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, and a range of additional challenges.  I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.  My work is focused on supporting my clients as we acquire solutions for their concerns, while at the same time, gaining a basic understanding of themselves, and how they would like to build on their strengths.

I provide both in-person and telehealth sessions

Samantha Reed is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, located in Gallatin County.  She started in patient care over a decade ago, first as a Certified Nursing Assistant in geriatrics before pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  In 2017, Samantha began working in Public Health Nursing, focusing on care for families with infants and children.  It was in her role in public health that she realized the depth of how health disparity is driven by social and economic inequities.  This inspired her to continue her education.  Samantha earned her master's degree in nursing, with an emphasis in clinical nurse leadership, in 2020, and continued forward, earning a Doctorate Degree as a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Montana State University in 2023.
She currently works as a psychiatric provider specializing in pediatrics, adolescents, and adults in multiple areas across Montana, using evidence-based care to facilitate a patient-focused treatment plan, and ultimately, to build hope and resilience within the community.  In her work, Samantha strives to help patients gain perspective to truly understand the healing process.

Samantha's primary focus is medication management for pediatrics and adults.  She sees patients in person and via telehealth.
